This was a bit of a special session. We brought the tempo down and the delicate tunes up. Waz and the boys in New Settlement Road really put on a suiting set for the commuters on Tram 8 to Toorak.

We went all the way to the end stop and decided; why not just play a few songs on the way back as well? Lucky we did because the band made the day for the chef Scott, who missed his stop and then decided to stay on for the remainder of the set. “This is brilliant. Who needs to go home?”, he said with a cheeky smile.

New Settlement Road will be hitting the stage next Thursday the 17th @ The Wesley Anne, Northcote with Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, Yelka & Lindsay Phillips.

Entry is $10 and doors open 8pm.

New Settlement Road, Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes along with Lindsay Phillips are teaming up to hit Ruby’s Lounge this Saturday November 5th. Tickets are $10 available from Moshtix or at the door. Doors open at 8pm.

New Settlement Road’s first single ‘Journey to Odelle’ has entered the AirIT charts at number 10. The AirIT charts track the airplay of artists on community radio across Australia.
